Chess is a board game played between two players. I like to play this game.It is hard to win... But it is very interesting to discover@@

My wife and I both installed this game on our iPads and went to play each other using the bump technology. I was black, and on my iPad, the black pieces were at the top of the screen, and I couldnt change that. Each player, on their iPads, should have their pieces on the bottom of their screen. I deleted the app before making an opening move. Too bad, looked like it had promise.

This freezes everything I play

The last update, amounts to an intrusive E on the icon. This one does nothing according to the description. This developer doesnt fixes or enhance their apps.

Trying to play against an iPad opponent on my iPhone, and it freezes every time its my turn. :(

Was excited to play, but that was quickly taken away by the fact that it crashes after only few moves. Very sad.

Dont bother. This is the most basic of chess apps. Pretty much all others are better. Waste of time.

The computer cheats alot make me not get to move any of my guys so just do device to device no built in people if you dont want any cheats!!!!!

On contrary to other reviews, I think this chess game is good, but needs some improvements. The game is pixely and the computer is hard even on easy.

can we play chess with friends that are not with you? that would be great. I dont see the option right now. (Like words with friends)

Its actually pretty nice, but theres a lot holding it back. One thing is it never tells you when (or if) you get in check more expecting you to just know, which can be annoying. Also, when the computer loses its an instant draw (should be win, people; draws are very rare though they can occur.) Its also annoying to have it keep telling me Im trying to make illegal moves just by selecting and deselecting pieces. I realize putting them back in the same spot may not seem valid in a real game, but it is when you change your mind due to realizing that piece actually cant currently move.

Title says it all

Its no fun when youve made a few moves and are getting into the game and the app just freezes and crashes, and of course your game is lost. If there was a zero star this app would get it.

Not very good. Had a few problems.

My most common frustration with any electronic chess game is castling. I can have everything set up to do so, but there is no control or move I can find (Ive tried dozens of possibilities that would occur to a user). So then I give up on the game even supporting the castle move, UNTIL THE COMPUTER DOES IT. Talk about unfair! Instant delete for me right there. Other than that, if you are looking for a simple and easy game of chess this app is just fine. With so many options for apps of this nature I feel that this one needs something to separate it from the crowd (customizable board, move animations, something!). But chess is chess... 4/5

Crashes OFTEN. Computer opponent calls a draw very often as well. overall very poor technical execution. Its a game because playability is nice without all the bugs.

I dont think you can choose to play black against the computer. Also, you cant turn off the undo button.
